Boosted Boards has introduced a new collection of electric skateboards for those who aren't satisfied with the speed of their current ones.

Among these new skateboards is the Dual Drive for those who engage in the activity on rare occasions, according to TechCrunch. This board is able to achieve speeds of 20 miles per hour (mph) and climb 15 percent grade hills.

These feats are accomplished with 1500 watts, which allow the Dual Drive to travel up to six miles on a single charge.

The second Boosted Board to make its debut is the pro-level board Dual+ Drive, which comes as an upgraded version of the original Boosted Board, TechCrunch reported. This board is powered by 2000 watts that let it go up to 22 mph and climb 20 percent grade hills. It also comes with extra torque that allows it to accelerate quickly from dead stops, as well as strong brakes for when someone/something darts in front of you unexpectedly.

Boosted is giving those who own the original board a chance for a free software upgrade in early 2015. All board owners have to do is mail it in to the company or go to the startup's upgrade station, which is set to appear at the company's meet-ups and board sports events.

The third electric board, the Boosted Single Drive, is lighter and more comfortable to carry than the other two, and comes with only one motor on one of the back wheels. Weighing 13.5 pounds, the board is designed more as a way to quickly get from the bus stop to work so you don't end up being late.

However, the Single Drive only has 1000 watts of power, which allows it to only travel up to 18 mph, TechCrunch reported. You won't be able to climb hills, and braking or accelerating while turning the direction opposite of the wheel with the motor is not recommended if you want to avoid traction. This board is aimed mostly towards those who want to take a ride down a straight line on a flat road.

Skateboarders who order the $999 Single Drive will have to wait until early 2015 to receive it. The Dual Drive and Dual+ Drive are available now for $1,299 and $1,499, respectively.
