Welcome to motherhood, Rachel Bilson.

The former "O.C." star and her boyfriend Hayden Christensen welcomed their first child together, daughter Briar Rose Christensen on Oct. 29, according to Us Weekly.

"Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson welcome their daughter Briar Rose Christensen born on October 29, 2014," a representative for the couple said in a statement. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. They are asking for privacy and subscribe to the No Kids Policy."

Us Weekly reported that the newborn's Disney princess-themed name originates from the classic 1959 "Sleeping Beauty" tale and was the name given to Princess Aurora to protect her from Maleficent's curse.

In May, reports confirmed that the "Hart of Dixie" actress and her hubby, both 33, were expecting their first child together. An insider told Us Weekly that the couple talked about having children "for awhile and are so excited."

"I've always wanted to be a mom," she told Health Magazine. "I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."

The couple met on the set of the 2007 movie "Jumper." The two got engaged in Dec. 2008, but called it off in Aug. 2010, before rekindling three months later.

"[Christensen is] so incredibly supportive and considerate," Bilson told Health. "It's so basic - that should be there. Because these things are so much more important when you're older. I've been in my relationship for seven years, so we've grown up together in a way. This is my partner, my support, just there for me no matter what. And vice versa."
