Runtastic has introduced an app for people who want to know if they are getting enough sleep.

The app, called Sleep Better, will provide details on how much sleep you are getting, whether it's light or heavy, according to SlashGear. Runtastic also looks at dreams as an important factor in sleep, providing a "dream diary" in the app that keeps track of both dreams and nightmares.

You will also be able to look at your sleep patterns from the night before, as well as judge how much sleep you will be able to get with the same habits in the future.

Activating Sleep Better under your pillow will allow it to figure out when the best time is to wake you up so that you get the right amount of rest, The Verge reported. After you wake up, the app will ask you how you feel, and what kind of dreams you had, and it will provide a note for you to write about your experience. If you want a more accurate review of your sleep, you will have to provide more detailed information, such as stress levels and how much caffeine you have consumed.

Owners of Android and iOS devices can download Sleep Better now, which can work with Apple's health-related data platform HealthKit, to find a new way to get a good night's sleep.
