Amazon Prime members are being treated to yet another benefit of unlimited photo storage on Amazon Cloud Drive.

Amazon, the largest online retailer, brings some of the greatest offers for its premium consumer base. The e-commerce giant announced its latest treat to Prime members on Tuesday, which  gives them the freedom to store unlimited photos on Amazon Cloud Drive without paying anything extra. The free cloud storage comes without any device restriction, allows Prime members to upload photos using compatible apps on Android, iOS, Macs and PCs and its own range of smartphones and tablets.

Amazon offers easy access to the photos stored with Prime Photos. Users can view the stored photos on all  devices as well as on big TV screens through Amazons Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 gaming consoles. The viewing option is also available on select LG and Samsung smart TVs.

"This time of year in particular, families are capturing thousands of photos of holiday parties, family gatherings and opening presents," Greg Greeley, Vice President at Amazon Prime, said in a press statement. "With free unlimited photo storage, we're providing one more reason for members to use Prime every day. Prime has always allowed members to conveniently save time and save money, and now with Prime Photos they can save memories too."

The new benefit offer to Prime members comes in addition to already-existing premium advantages such as unlimited Free Two-Day Shipping for millions of items, instant streaming of movies and TV episodes through Prime Instant Video, free access to Prime Music, early access to Lightening Deals so premium shoppers do not miss out on great deals and access to a wide range of books through Kindle Owners' Lending Library.

Amazon also assures its members that the online cloud storage for photos is secure and protected. The assurance comes at a time when mobile users are skeptical about the cloud's security after a high-profile celebrity photo hack.

Prime Photos for Prime members is only available in the U.S. To kick off the new feature, Amazon is offering a full Prime membership for one year free with Fire phone. Otherwise, one year of Amazon Prime membership costs $99.

Existing members can access Prime Photos here and start uploading.
