Ask most Hollywood personalities to name their favorite cars, and the response will likely be a vague allusion to the latest unobtanium, or something shiny and loud obtained with a fat residual check.

For actress Adrienne Janic, the answer is clear: a 1969 Pontiac GTO "Judge."

"I am drooling over it," Janic said. "I'm a Pontiac girl, and the Judge is an iconic American car."

She wasn't always a Pontiac girl, however. Janic received her formal automotive education as co-host of Overhaulin' and Hot Import Nights, reality television shows devoted to the automotive hobby, and was hooked.

"To be honest, I knew nothing before I joined the show," Janic said.

The actress and former model was schooled in all aspects automotive during several seasons with "Overhaulin'," a TLC reality show devoted to giving new life to classic cars in dire need.

"When I did agree to become the co-host of 'Overhaulin,'" I said, 'Listen, I think it's an amazing opportunity, but please don't make me pretend I know about cars because I don't,'" Janic said.

Nearly a decade later, Janic is now a self-proclaimed car aficionado, and is returning to co-host "Overhaulin'" as the show speeds past its hundredth episode. Beyond that commitment, Janic is exploring more opportunities to spend time talking about cars.

"If they call me back for more, of course I'm going to say yes," she said.
