Chelsea Handler, comedienne and host of E!'s Chelsea Lately, posted a topless photo of herself riding a horse on Instagram on Thursday, reigniting NippleGate and the hashtag #FreeTheNipple on Twitter.

The 39-year-old put her photo up next to Russina leader Vladimir Putin's illustrious bare-chested horseback ride snapshot. "Anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better #kremlin," Handler captioned the picture, according to EOnline.

Her photo was then removed by Instagram.

What did the author of "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," do next?

Why, put the photo back up, of course! The caption on the second attempt read: "Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin."

The photo was then removed by Instagram... again.

Handler screen captured the notice that Instagram sent her about their "Community Guidelines" and posted it with the caption: "If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?"

Handler posted the controversial picture on Instagram a third time, according to EOnline, and wrote, "If instagram takes this down again, you're saying Vladimir Putin Has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses."

The photo is no longer up on Handler's Instagram account.
