Lenovo is changing its image with refreshed tablets in the Yoga series and announced its newest 13-inch Yoga Tablet 2 powered by Windows.

Lenovo, the reliable brand for PCs, is making a major shift into the tablet arena with a refreshed line of devices. After unveiling the premium Yoga Tablet 2 Pro at an event in London earlier this month, the Chinese computing firm is trying to attract the Windows fans with an all-new 13-inch Yoga Tablet 2. The latest addition comes with high-end features as in the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with slight changes and a hefty price tag.

According to Lenovo, the Yoga Tablet 2 draws its power from the same Intel Atom quad core processor as its Pro counterpart. Other specs include a 13-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, 4GB LP DDR3 memory, 64GB onboard storage expandable up to 64GB, two 1.5W JBL speakers, Dolby surround with a 5W sub woofer for a cinematic experience and a massive 12,800mAh battery to keep the tablet running for up to 15 hours. It also has a 1.6MP front facing camera for video calls.

"As we continue to expand and refine our popular line of YOGA tablets, we're listening to customers to give them more of what they want - from new modes like Hang to screen size to operating system," Jeff Meredith, vice president, Tablet Business Unit at Lenovo, said in a press release, Wednesday. "The Lenovo new YOGA 13-in Tablet 2 Windows tablet now gives users who seek more productivity options and a larger screen size the perfect option."

Lenovo has also added the convenience of using the tablet in four distinct modes, Hold, Stand, Tilt and the newly added "Hang" mode. It is complimented by an ultra slim Bluetooth AccuType keyboard cover to make typing easy like on a laptop without compromising on the seamless portability. It is powered by Windows 8.1 to bring an alternate option for buyers who prefer Microsoft's OS over Google's Android.

Lenovo will start selling the Yoga Tablet 2 starting November for $700. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro sells for $500.
