Pop goes the country. Or is it country goes the pop?

Either way, the producers of the CMA Awards have a history of welcoming pop performers into their country music world. This year, the CMA welcome mat is out for two pop performers - Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande. The pop artists will be paired with two of country's oh-so-hot acts, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town, to create truly unique duets, according to the Tennessean.

On the Nov. 5 awards show, Lambert and Trainor will entwine their voices on the song that made singer/songwriter Trainor a YouTube sensation - "All About That Bass."

The song celebrates the power of women, and has some great lines for Lambert and Trainor to trade licks on. Lines such as:

"Yeah, my momma she told me don't worry about your size
She says, boys they like a little more booty to hold at night
You know I won't be no stick-figure, silicone Barbie doll."

And

"Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top."

In addition to their obvious singing abilities, Lambert and Trainor share a love for the written word, both having penned numerous hits as songwriters.

Lambert has penned a lot of her hits, including "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," "Kerosone" and "Platinum."

Songs written by Trainor have been recorded by Rascal Flatts, Macy Kate, Common Kings and Sabrina Carpenter.
The song that will blend the talents of Little Big Town and Ariana Grande on the awards show hasn't been announced yet.

The bit-of-pop-flavored 48th annual CMA Awards airs Wednesday night, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. EST live on ABC from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, a mom-to-be, returning as hosts.

Previously announced performers include Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, The Band Perry and Keith Urban.
