OnePlus is opening a one-hour window for pre-ordering its critically acclaimed One smartphone next week.

OnePlus, the high-end smartphone maker, is opening up its One smartphone sale for the general public starting next week. The high-end smartphone with ridiculously low price tag will be available to public for the first time since its launch earlier this year. The wait is over for those who have been hoping for an invite from the company to purchase the $300-smartphone as they can finally pick one up on Oct. 27. But there's a catch, OnePlus One will be available for pre-order only through a limited one-hour window.

On Oct. 27, 3 p.m. GMT (8:00 a.m. PST/ 11:00 a.m. EST), the highly advance One smartphone will be up for grabs from its official online store. The pre-order window will close once the clock strikes 4 p.m. GMT. The phone maker currently has a countdown on its pre-order site, to show its potential buyers how long they have before the One hits availability.

"We now have an exciting alternative to invites. With our pre-order system, you'll be able to place your order for the One and immediately be told the estimated shipping time. Starting today, for the seven days prior to pre-orders you will be able to arrange your shopping cart and save it just how you like it to ensure your checkout goes quickly and smoothly during the pre-orders hour," Bridget Hickey, Communications Manager at OnePlus, said in a company's official blog post Monday. "If you get an invite after submitting your pre-order, you can use it to skip the queue and get your device shipped right away."

For those who have little idea about it, the OnePlus One smartphone is packed with great features. Powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, One packs 3GB RAM, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 13-megapixel camera from Sony and a 5-megapixel shooter in the front. It boasts a large 3,100mAh battery and a popular custom Android ROM, CyanogenMod. The specs were impressive when the smartphone was launched earlier this year, but the smartphone market has upgraded with entries from LG and Samsung in G3 and Galaxy Note 4, respectively. Despite that, the features offered in One makes it a worthy buy as it sells for just $300 for the 16GB variant.

To kick off this celebratory offer, OnePlus is also offering the latest JBL E1+ earphones for just $25 before the original price ($40) kicks in after the pre-order window closes.
