Country music newcomer RaeLynn - who first gained national attention as a season two contestant on "The Voice" - has a lot of blessings to count. She has a hit song that she co-wrote on the radio and she just made her debut performance on the Grand Ole Opry. The star-in-the-making credits her faith for guiding her to the spotlight.

"I very much believe in God and believe he's helped me get where I am today and he keeps me calm," RaeLynn told FOX411. "Growing up with God on my side and helping me through this journey - it's crazy [but] thank you Jesus. I've always been that way...I pray and I cuss."

RaeLynn declares that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have also helped her on her journey by giving her advice and support.

"Blake and Miranda are first of all the most amazing people you'll meet in your life," she said of the husband and wife country stars, reports FOX411. "The best advice they gave me is to stay true to who I am. There are so many times where I would get really discouraged because I wanted to be out there but timing is everything. Miranda said keep developing who you are, you have your whole life to write your first record."

If timing is everything, then RaeLynn's first single "God Made Girls" is right on time. She wrote the song with some of Nashville's most talented songwriters, Nicolle Galyon, Liz Rose and Lori McKenna.

The lyrics for "God Made Girls" declare:

He needed something soft and loud and sweet and proud

But tough enough to break a heart

Something beautiful and breakable that lights up in the dark

So God made girls, God made girls

RaeLynn made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Sept. 26.

"Being invited to sing at the Grand Ole Opry is an absolute dream come true," adds RaeLynn of the experience. "Standing in the same hallowed circle as my heroes and looking out into that crowd performing my own music is a moment I will never forget," according to The Boot.

RaeLynn grew up in Baytown, Texas, listening to everything from gospel to Dolly Parton and Destiny's Child. At age 15, her mom and dad took her to Los Angeles to help her tackle her acting dreams. While there, the aspiring actress nixed some roles because they conflicted with her values.

"There's been a couple of auditions that I would never do, like roles I wouldn't do for being too sexual," RaeLynn revealed to FOX411. "I'm not the kind of girl to take off my clothes. I love crop tops [but] that's as much as I want. I've never been that kind of girl."

RaeLynn's future looks as bright as the spotlights on the Grand Ole Opry stage. She will hit the road in 2015, opening for Lambert on her Certified Platinum Tour.
