The boyfriend of Nina Pham, a Dallas nurse that was diagnosed with Ebola, might have contracted the virus from her, Epoch Times reported on Sunday.

Her boyfriend's coworkers at Alcon in Fort Worth were sent a letter saying that he was in a hospital isolation unit, suffering from systems that mimic Ebola. But the letter did not say whether or not he had been diagnosed. He checked into the hospital on Oct. 12.

"A person described as a friend of Pham's is also being monitored for the disease, although he said he didn't know the friend's relationship. Others have said the patient being monitored is Pham's boyfriend," the Examiner reported.

Pham has gone from being in "good" condition to "fair" in her unit. "Fair condition" is a worse state than "good condition," the Epoch Times reported, citing the American Hospital Association scale.

Treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died a few weeks ago, is allegedly what caused 26-year-old Pham's infection.

"She's very fatigued. This is a disease that wreaks havoc on you... This virus knocks you out," Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said, according to the Epoch Times.

His name has not yet been released. When it was announced that a third person was infected with Ebola in Dallas, many thought it was Pham's boyfriend at first, but it turned out not to be. In fact, a third medical professional who cared for Duncan was diagnosed.

Amanda Vinson, who is being treated for the disease, started experiencing an elevated temperature soon after she had began monitoring her symptoms as per CDC recommendations. She was traveling from Texas to Ohio on Frontier Airlines to plan her wedding when she started to feel ill. Vinson also visited a bridal shop, causing a chain of events that included closing a handful of Texas and Ohio schools along with the bridal shop, Design and Trend reported.

The CDC did not tell Vinson she couldn't travel when she called them before departing to Ohio.
