A new e-commerce app was launched Tuesday as a tool for finding products from the best brands on your phone.

The app, called CardBlanc, serves as a digital payment platform for users to share their purchases with their friends, according to Venturebeat.

Those who download CardBlanc will receive a virtual personalized card that includes their name and a special card number. They can then transfer funds from their bank accounts to the card and shop by stores, trends, categories and brands. Users also have the opportunity to earn rewards with purchases.

Tina Hay, CEO and founder of CardBlanc, said the new app is targeted towards younger adults and millennials, and that it is aimed at making shopping a better experience for these groups, TechCrunch reported.

"A lot of the sites- the PayPal's and the Venmo's- have some of the features [we offer] ... but what we've built into the application are features that make it more social, more connected," she said.

The app is promised to be secure, as CardBlanc uses bank-grade security encryption so users can make safe transactions, according to Venturebeat.

Hundreds of stores will be provided for CardBlanc users to explore, such as Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, Nike, TopShop, Abercrombie and Bluefly. New stores are being added to the service every day.

Hay said CardBlanc is intended to help consumers "learn to be financially responsible but still have fun shopping and sharing with friends."

Shoppers with iPhones can download CardBlanc now for free at the App Store.
