Exactly one month has passed since a University of Virginia student disappeared, and her parents begged for help in finding their daughter again on Monday, Yahoo News reported.

Hannah Graham was last seen in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Sept. 13 after leaving an off-campus party. She is an 18-year-old sophomore at the university.

The last person to allegedly be with Graham was Jesse Matthew Jr., 32, of Charlottesville. He has since been charged with abduction with intent to defile in connection with her disappearance. Forensic evidence has since tied him to the 2010 murder of Morgan Harrington, a student at Virginia Tech.

"It is heartbreaking for us that the person or persons who know where Hannah is have not come forward with that information," John and Sue Graham, the girl's parents, said in a statement.

They also thanked the police and everyone who has been involved in the efforts to find Hannah Graham. Words can't express the gratitude that is felt for all the support they have been given throughout the last month, the parents said.

Anyone who hasn't searched their property inside the city or in the neighboring communities was strongly urged to do so by John and Sue Graham, according to ABC News.

The 8 -mile area where Hannah Graham was last seen is almost done being searched, the Virginia Department of Emergency Management said.
