Lady Gaga is truly committed to her boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney.
The couple, who started dating in 2011, held a commitment ceremony in New York to prove their love and dedication for each other. The event was hosted at Joan Tratorria, a restaurant in New York owned by the singer's parents, according to The Daily Mail.
"Gaga wanted something visual, a commitment ceremony with the people who matter the most," a source told the Daily Star Newspaper.
"They don't have time to plan a wedding, so they decided they would have a small gathering to show the people they love most how committed they are to one another. It was just for her family and a few close art and designer friends. Taylor's mum Pam was there too. She flew in with one of his brothers."
Earlier this month, Kinney's former co-star, Sophia Bush, called the actor's piece of jewelry his "personal ring," however a source close to the couple explained that the ring was a sign of his commitment to the "Marry the Night" singer.
The two "will get married properly next year, when they have time to plan a wedding.''
In an interview with Howard Stern, Gaga explained how she managed to keep her relationship with the actor out of the media.
"The connection that I feel is so strong that it's so much stronger than physical," she said. "We're both very protective of our love as well. We treat each other with a lot of care and we're good to one another."
