When The Band Perry became part of Blake Shelton's 2014 tour, they knew he was a mega-talented and extremely funny man. They'd seen him cut up on "The Voice" and act zany at awards shows. But after being on the road with Shelton, they know all too well exactly how wild and crazy he really is.

The sibling trio stopped by E! and chatted about just how much their road lives changed once they hopped on Shelton's tour earlier this year. "2014 has been totally slammed," Kimberly Perry explains. "We're very blue collar when it comes to our touring life and it was funny being out with Shelton. It was like summer camp all the time," reports Coti Howell of Taste of Country.

So, is Shelton as madcap as he seems when he's on "The Voice" and when he's goofing off on awards shows?

"He is," declares Kimberly, "especially when he's out playing basketball in between the buses. He gets really intense."

Kimberly's brother, Reid, explained Shelton sets up a basketball area every single day. They admit they didn't join him to shoot some hoops - mainly because of their size.

"We're the shortest band in country music, so we didn't go near that game," Kimberly jokes.

The singer may not be a basketball whiz, but she no doubt knows more than a little about baseball. She recently married MLB player J.P. Arencibia.

Kimberly notes that even though the Band Perry have been on tour a lot since she and Arencibia were married, it feels more like a week since they've been apart, according to Taste of Country.

"He's out tuning mandolins and being a road warrior," she says about her new hubby.

Hey, maybe Arencibia can get Shelton to organize regular baseball games next to the tour buses instead of playing hoops between the buses.
