Six second graders from Brooklyn's P.S. 295 got a taste of the high life with a seven-course tasting menu at the French restaurant Daniel, according to The New York Times.

The meal was served by five waiters and headed by Chef Daniel Boulud. Boulud's goal was "for the children to really discover a lot of flavor, a lot of layers, a lot of texture."

According to an article on Eater, "The adorable group had never been to the restaurant before, and Daniel reveals that as a child he never ate at fancy restaurants because he grew up on a farm."

How did the young palates appreciate plates such as Smoked Paprika Cured Hamachi, Crispy Japanese Snapper and Wagyu Beef Rib-Eye?
