For anyone who's tired of wrestling with complicated monthly smartphone plans from cellular providers, your headaches are about to be over.

FreedomPop, an Internet provider, whose website says that "The Internet is a right not a privilege," announced it will be coming out with the first-ever completely free mobile service. This will include free voice, text and data.

Although it's a nice deal, obviously the amount of data and call minutes won't be great. PC Mag reports FreedomPop will be giving users 500MG of data, unlimited texting and 200 voice minutes per month. All calls to other FreedomPop users will be completely free.

Free calling between users isn't the only perk that the company is offering its users. You can earn additional free data by completing surveys, downloading certain programs and getting friends to join the service. Also, not to be outplayed by other providers, you can still pay for additional data and even upgrade to unlimited voice for $9.99 per month.

The service will utilize something called VoIP (Voiceover IP), which will allow FreedomPop subscribers to make calls over the Internet. According to PC Mag it will be the first service to offer a data service that runs 100 percent VoIP over cellular networks.

"The quality of over-the-top VoIP services is now at a stage where we can deliver the major mobile services completely free to consumers," said Stephen Stokols, CEO and co-founder of FreedomPop.

The service will be available over Sprint's 3G and 4G LTE network, as well as 4G WiMAX on Clear. The phones may not be available on Sprint's 4G LTE network until after it rolls out its nationwide product line.

There is no word yet on what phones will be offered, however, FreedomPop has said they will carry popular phones that customers will be familiar with. The phone service will likely be launched sometime this summer.
