Hundreds of girls from France, as well as other parts of the world, are being recruited by Jihad through social media to be the wives and housekeepers of terrorists.

The parents of a girl named Nora, who recently discovered their daughter was brainwashed by Jihadis through Facebook, are bringing attention to the issue.

"Everything was calculated," Severine, Nora's mother, tells The Associated Press. "I never heard her talk about Syria, jihad. It was as though the sky fell on us."

Videos that play to the ideals and fantasies of teenaged girls were one tool used by the Jihadists to lure girls in. They also put down France, referring often to the country's decision to restrict the use of veils and headscarves.

Nora's family is non-practicing Muslims, according to AP reports.

Until she got to Syria, Nora didn't know that their intentions were to marry her off to a terrorist. She is resisting marriage, but they are not letting her leave.

"As soon as they manage to snare a girl, they do everything they can to keep her," Foad, Nora's older brother, tells AP. "Girls aren't there for combat, just for marriage and children. A reproduction machine."

Nora's parents are filing a lawsuit against the jihadists, AP reports. Two people are being charged so far, including a young mother who took Nora in.

"It is not at random that these girls are leaving. They are being guided. She was being commanded by remote control," family lawyer Guy Guenoun, tells AP. "And now she has made a trip to the pit of hell."

Nora's situation is in no way unique. In France alone 63 girls - about 25 percent of the total - are female jihadi recruits, reports The Guardian. At least another 60 French girls are believed to be considering the move.
