Those looking to watch Apple's event on Oct. 16th as it happens will be happy to know that the tech giant has confirmed it will live stream the unveiling of new devices.

The Cupertino, California-based company has put up a holding page on its website for the stream, which comes with the text: "Join us here at apple.com/live on October 16 at 10am PT to watch our special event live," according to CNET.

The event will follow a month after Apple's introduced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and gave tech fans a short look at its Apple Watch.

Apple will be holding next week's event at the Town Hall auditorium on its campus in Cupertino, Mac Rumors reported. Several gadgets are expected to make their debut on Oct. 16th, such as new and improved version of the iPad Air and a new Retina iPad mini. Apple fans are also expecting to see an updated iMacs with a 27-inch model that features a high-resolution Retina display, as well as announcements about updated iMac minis and OS X Yosemite.

The live stream confirmation follows just days after Apple released invitations for the event, which came with the tagline "It's been way too long."
