There has been an update in the brutal beating that occurred during Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

27-year-old Amador Rebollero and 34-year-old Dario Rebollero are accused of engaging in a vicious attack on Sunday, October 5 at Levi's Stadium - the home of the San Francisco 49er's - that left one of the victims injured far more severely than initially assumed.

During the 49ers' victory over the Chiefs, the Rebollero brothers were among a group of fans standing in line to use the bathroom. Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Deborah Hernandez said one of the two victims tapped Amador - who was in front of them in line - on the shoulder to inform him that a stall had opened.

The Rebolleros then allegedly responded in a less-than-amicable fashion.

"These victims were beaten like animals," said Hernandez. "One of the victims has suffered severe injuries. He has some bleeding to the brain. He has had to have partial skull removal to relieve some of that pressure. He is currently suffering some paralysis."

Video of the incident shows attackers that appear to be the Rebolleros throwing punches and then one of the victims is splayed out, unconscious on the ground.

"First thing that happened when entering bathroom. All due to impatience for an open stall," wrote Alex C., the person who recorded the video and uploaded it to YouTube.

The Rebolleros were arraigned Wednesday afternoon on felony assault charges. Amador Rebollero is being held on $350,000 bail as prosecutors say he was the main assailant. Dario Rebollero is being held on $75,000 bail.

"These victims were just standing in line at the bathroom, waiting their turn, trying to make the line move, and then all of a sudden they are beaten," Hernandez said.
