People become less me, myself and I as they grow older, even on their personal social networks.

Instead of using first-person-singular pronouns (I, me, my or mine), people tend to use the more inclusive first-person-plural pronouns (we, us or our), according to a new Facebook study. The University of Pennsylvania's World Well-Being Project acquired Facebook status updates from 75,000 volunteers willing to turn over their social network data for science. Volunteers ranged in age between 14 years old and more than 60.

Researchers also found females used first-personal-singular pronouns more than men, but their rate of first-person-plural pronouns was about the same. The study also measured the pronoun usage of second- and third-person pronouns.
