“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” star Ben Affleck isn’t about to start dishing out details any time soon.

During an interview with the “TODAY” show, Ben Affleck joked about Warner Bros. shutting him down before he could get a word out about “Batman vs. Superman.”

However, he did explain he doesn’t take any of the negative criticism regarding his casting personally. Affleck understands the attention from the project comes back from personal attachments to the “Batman” franchise and how deeply people care about the character.

"You have all of this attention — some of it's positive, some of it's negative. I think, in the end, you make the movie and it either works or it doesn't,” Affleck said.

Affleck also stopped by “Live with Kelly and Michael” where he spoke about his Batsuit. The actor jokingly asked Warner Bros. if he could take the Batsuit home with him once the production what finished, but didn’t get the answer he expected.

“I asked them what about taking the suit home at the end of the thing? And they said, for $100k,” Affleck said. “And I said, well maybe I’ll just take a picture…There’s a lot that goes into it, there’s a lot of designers. These movies have become the big deal, so they spend a lot of money on every little detail. And they’re scrutinized and criticized, and the guy who did the suits did a very good job.”

The “Batman vs. Superman” actor also explained why he worked so hard to physically prepare for the role

“These aren’t roles that you can do and not exercise for. Audiences have now an increasing expectation,” Affleck said. “Like, in the ‘50s, you could just be Burt Lancaster and, like, tall, and that was okay.

“And now you see guys like Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans and all these guys whose bodies are just, you think, how is that even possible? So exercising is as much a part of the job as anything, in some ways. They want you to look like that’s actually you when you take the suit off.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to open in theaters on March 25, 2016.
