Actor Harry Lennix assured “Dark Knight” trilogy fans they will enjoy what they see in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Lennix, who reprises his role as General Swanwick from “Man of Steel,” explained to Moviefone if fans loved Frank Miller’s graphic novels, they’ll enjoy “Batman vs. Superman.”

“Anybody who's a fan of the '86 graphic novel ‘The Dark Knight Returns,’ I think will be well pleased by that. This is a historic event. Clearly, Zack Snyder is on the cutting edge of directing movies of this scope and scale,” Lennix said.

“I think you can depend on the acting - you've got Amy Adams, of course. You've got Henry [Cavill]. I don't think there are any surprises with regard to that. What will happen remains to be seen. I'd probably wind up in a box some place.”

If fans prefer their Caped Crusader be extra moody, then Ben Affleck is definitely their guy.  The “Batman vs. Superman” actor recently shared with The Sunday Times he can relate to the vigilante’s dark emotions.

Affleck claimed he buries his anger so deeply it ends up backfiring, as his emotions will come out stronger than he intends to show.

“I tend to be respectful, polite, get along, put up with, put up with, put up with… then, when it finally emerges, it’s not something I have a ton of control over,” Affleck told The Sunday Times. “I’m not gonna go into a Wolverine berserker rage, but I do have a, I do…

“That is an interesting thing that you point out. That’s my personality… By the way, that’s a character flaw, I think. I should sit down and say, ‘Listen, I just want to let you know what happened there wasn’t OK’, instead of going, let it go, let it go, let it go… ‘Ah, that’s not a big deal’, until finally you just pop!”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
