New details about Jason Momoa’s rumored role in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” have surfaced, revealing possible plot details and character descriptions.

Momoa’s Aquaman is allegedly upset with Superman during “Batman vs. Superman” because of the World Engine launch in “Man of Steel.”

The engine has caused destruction to the Indian Ocean, but the plot has yet to be confirmed by the production, according to Schmoes Know.

However, the character’s connection to Superman has reportedly been teased in “Man of Steel.” Schmoes Know reports Aquaman saved Superman during the scene where the superhero saved the men on the oil rig in the first film.

“Apparently, Aquaman sent the whales to save Supes and make sure he was okay, which makes sense considering we never actually see how Supes gets back to shore in the film,” according to Schomoes Know.

“He sees the whales and then it cuts to him walking on land, which could mean they were saving the swim back for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

It remains unclear how Aquaman will be introduced in the franchise, but the character will likely not wear an orange and green suit. Momoa’s character will allegedly resemble a surfer.

“Nothing huge and pretty obvious but for those of you wondering, that’s what we hear he’ll look like in the film, which makes sense since it’s Momoa playing the character,” according to Schmoes Know.

The “Batman vs. Superman” production is currently filming in Detroit, Mich. Momoa hasn’t been spotted on set, but there are multiple video of the Batmobile in action. Check out what Batman’s been up to here.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
