AT&T, the second largest wireless carrier in the U.S., announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S on its network in June sans the availability and pricing details. The carrier has finally put all speculations  built around the premium tablets at rest by giving out the missing details. On Wednesday, AT&T announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4 will hit retail outlets starting next Friday, Sept. 26. For the inquisitive lot, both tablets can be pre-ordered from AT&T's online store and the shipment for those orders will begin around Tuesday, Sept.  23.

Samsung launched its premium tablet Galaxy Tab S series in June. The tech giant touted the devices to be the "lightest and thinnest" to date with the most advanced high-res displays. Samsung has limited the availability of the tablets through AT&T's network, which will exclusively sell the devices on the fastest 4G LTE connection.

AT&T has listed its usual purchase options for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4 under a two-year agreement. The carrier isn't offering massive discounts on the tablets. The Tab S 10.5 will be available for $529 with contract but an additional $100 will free the device from contract. Similarly, the smaller 8.4-inch model will sell for $429 with a two-year agreement or $529 for off-contract purchase. Both tablets are offered only in one color variant, Charcoal Gray, while the advertised white model with gold rim is missing.

Both models are available with AT&T Next; $31.50 per month for the 10.5 incher and $26.50 per month for the smaller version. The monthly installments are for 20 months and are subject to additional charges based on varying service plan charges, the carrier said in an press release Wednesday.

For those who wish to pre-order the device before its release, AT&T is offering a 50-percent discount on the matching Samsung Tab S keyboard.
