R&B singer August Alsina collapsed and fell off stage during a New York City concert on Monday night (Sept. 15). The 22-year-old was performing at Irving Plaza when his body went limp and he tumbled off the stage into the crowd.

His security team rushed forward and signaled for the music to be stopped, E! News reports. The entire incident was caught on cell phone cameras and posted online. Fans who were at the show tweeted that Alsina was conscious and talking in the back of the ambulance. So far there has not been an update on his condition.

According to several sites like Sandra Rose and Media Take Out, the singer reportedly hadn't eaten much that day and smoked too much "Knockout" weed.

"Luckily, August Alsina is doing much better now. He was taken to the hospital and his team claims that it was just 'exhaustion,'" MTO wrote. "But we heard otherwise... word is that he smoked some crazy weed called Knockout. He thought he could handle it... but nah."

Alsina is wrapping up his first solo tour "Testimony Live," named after his debut album, "Testimony" which features collaborations with Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti and more. Alsina is scheduled to perform Tuesday night (Sept. 16) in Cincinnati, Ohio at Bogart's but it's no word if the show will be postponed.

He wraps his tour later this month in Kansas City.

"I Said A Prayer 4 Ya Lil Homie @AugustAlsina 'Minor Set Bike For A Major ComeBike' Double Salute," singer Plies tweeted.
