A man who was wanted in an alleged armed bank robbery since 2010 was arrested yesterday after police found him participating in an ultimate Frisbee tournament.

About four years ago, police were looking for Jahson Marryshow, 31, after he was the suspect in an armed bank robbery, KVAL reported. Marryshow escaped from the police. While he was fleeing the scene, he reportedly also stole a car and burned down a barn.

Since the incidents, Marryshow seemed to disappear until police got a tip saying the man was currently residing in Eugene.

The alleged bank robber was competing in an ultimate Frisbee tournament over the weekend near Amazon Park in South Eugene when police finally caught him.

Police say he made no attempts to escape and they arrested him at 5 p.m. Sunday. He is being held in the Lane County Jail.
