This could be Cheryl Burke's last season on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." The 30-year-old veteran made the shocking announcement on "Good Morning America" on Monday, Sept. 15.

"As of now, this is probably going to be my last season," Burke said.

She has been dancing with the show for 10 years and explained that it's time she started pursuing other options.

"I started when I [was] 20. I'm 30. I want to try new things and just see what's out there," she said.

Season 19 kicks off tonight (Sept. 15) with Burke dancing with Antonio Sebato Jr. Her past partners have included Rob Kardashian, Emmitt Smith, Drew Lachey, and in Season 18 Drew Carey.

This isn't the first time Burke has said she wanted to check out other options. The professional dancer has been vocal about doing other things, including focusing on her love life. According to ABC News, back in 2012 Burke told reporters that she had talked with executives about becoming the next "Bachelorette."

"There hasn't been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me, I would love to do it," she said at the time.

Burke easily became a fan-favorite pro and nabbed the coveted Mirror Ball trophy twice throughout her 18 seasons with the show - the first time with Lachey in Season 2 and with Smith in the third season.

If Burke does leave, she will join veteran dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who announced a few months ago that he was retiring from the show. Chmerkovskiy won the Season 18 Mirror Ball trophy with his partner, Olympic skater Meryl Davis.
