“The Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik isn’t a fan of 21-year-old Ariana Grande’s racy billboard ads promoting her latest album.

Bialik explained her thoughts on the singer’s promotional and wardrobe choices on her Kveller.com blog. Bialik stated she’s “socially conservative” when it comes to the sexuality that is being pushed onto her children.

“I am a bleeding heart liberal without exception,” Bialik wrote. “But I am old-fashioned. My kids have clothes they only wear to synagogue. I don’t favor my kids cursing. I dress modestly. I don’t want my kids learning about sex from billboards.”

Bialik went on to describe Grande’s billboard ad as an attempt to sell lingerie, not her music. Though the actress doesn’t specify which ad she's talking about, one billboard for Grande’s latest album features her in a midriff –revealing cropped top, matching lacy short-shorts and a pair of stiletto heels.

“Why is she in her underwear on this billboard though? And if she has a talent (is she a singer?), then why does she have to sell herself in lingerie?” Bialik wrote. “I mean, I know that society is patriarchal and women are expected to be sexy and sexually available no matter what we do in society, but I guess now I need to explain that to my sons?”

Bialik claimed its not just Grande’s ad she’s upset with her. The actress claimed she’s seen overly sexualized advertisements for Levi’s Jeans, “Planet of the Apes” film and lists more examples of what she’s seen.

“Am I a crotchety old lady? I guess so,” Bialik wrote in the blog. “But I just don’t understand why this is what ads need to look like. What good does it do for humanity or society? Why do I have to be OK with young women literally in lingerie on gigantic billboards? If I want to see women in lingerie, I can walk through any mall with a Victoria’s Secret.”
