Only weeks after being rumored to be dating, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin were spotted enjoying a "super-affectionate night out," according to media reports.

The "Hunger Games" actress and the Coldplay singer were seen enjoying a night out with their friends at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood Thursday. Though they had friends with them, witnesses confirmed that the two were seen getting very affectionate with each other.

"They seem very comfortable in each other's company - and happy!" an eyewitness told E! News. "It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other."

Reportedly, Martin's friends warmly welcomed her into their group and were happy that she was dating their best pal.

"She is very gregarious and confident," the eyewitness added. "When Martin wasn't rubbing Lawrence's back, the affectionate musician often held his girlfriend's hand. Though it was a group outing, the celebrity couple were the center of attention . ...They seem super cute together."

It was also reported that Robert Pattinson was present at Chateau Marmont as well. Though Lawrence and Pattinson crossed paths one time, they didn't speak to each other. Both their exes - Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult - are shooting a film together titled "Equals" and rumored to be dating each other too.

Us Weekly was the first to report Lawrence and Martin's dating rumors. According to the tabloid, the 24-year-old actress was spotted at a Coldplay concert in New York City, where she got a special shout-out from the 37-year-old singer. Concertgoers and eyewitnesses confirmed the special shout-out addressed to the "American Hustle" star by Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow's estranged husband. Insiders said Martin made a "Hunger Games" reference during the band's live interaction with fans and even blew a kiss toward the upstairs VIP booth, where Lawrence and a few other pals were seated.

However, this is not really surprising since Lawrence has been an avid Coldplay fan and has gone to many of the band's concerts over the years. An insider claimed that Lawrence really "loves the band" which wrote and recorder "Atlas" for the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack.

The same insider revealed that the "Silver Linings Playbook" star had a huge crush on Martin. Earlier this summer, Lawrence made headlines when she and Hoult officially split for the second time because of their "difficult schedules."

"They just weren't together a lot. Her life is a whirlwind," a source said at the time.

Following her public split, Lawrence moved on quickly to dating Martin since late June, according to E! News.
