A new “How I Met Your Mother” ending might be enough to satisfy fans who were disappointed with the series finale.

The alleged HIMYM alternate ending has leaked online. The clip features Bob Saget, the voice of older Ted Mosby, recapping the events that led to meeting Tracy.

Instead of Ted stealing the blue French horn for Robin, the show ends on the train station platform where the hopeless romantic meets The Mother. No sad hospital scene, no Robin growing apart from the group and no Barney and Robin divorce.

HIMYM creators have yet to comment on the leaked video, but you can check it out for yourself here. Though many fans hated the series finale, actor Neil Patrick Harris explained to David Letterman on "The Late Show" why the ending was perfect for the overall story.

Harris claimed the finale was “kind of sad but happy” to end their nine-year run. The actor believed the show was always a balance of comedy and drama and didn’t deserve a neat ending.

"It wasn't necessarily the happy ending that people were expecting," Harris told Letterman. "But Carter [Bays] and Craig [Thomas], who were once writers on your show and the executive producers and creators, knew this ending years ago and had played towards that. And I was a big proponent of it and a big fan of it."

"Sometimes, people's growth doesn't really mean that they grow up," he added. "There are certain people who you want them to get into a solid relationship and really settle down and learn from things. And you want Barney to be the guy you can bring your mom home to - but Barney's the guy who wants to bang your mom."
