A new image of Jesse Eisenberg might reveal his official Lex Luthor look in the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” production.
A fan snapped a photo with Eisenberg with short, straight hair. The actor, who has naturally curly hair, appears to be wearing a wig, but it is difficult to tell from the image.
However, it is unclear if the photo was taken while on the “Batman vs. Superman” set. Luthor is normally depicted as a menacing bald man, so a wig could be hiding a bald head. Check out the fan image with Eisenberg below.
Eisenberg recently spoke about taking on the role of Lex Luthor in an interview with TotalFilm. The actor praised the “Batman vs. Superman” script, claiming Luthor is an “interesting” character to play.
"There are some indications of how the character should behave based on the script, and then as actor makes it his or her own," Eisenberg said. "I got to know one of the writers really well, Chris Terrio, and we were able to discuss things at length and figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what is, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology. I can only say I've been asked to play an interesting role: a complicated, challenging person."
Eisenberg is also preparing himself for the chaos that comes with the hype of film. However, the actor is excited for fans to see the quality acting in the “Batman vs. Superman” production.
"I've been in things that have been popular before," Eisenberg said. "To say, I can't do that which will appear in thousands of theaters on opening day, but I can do this which will appear in this amount of theaters...
“It's arbitrary. I realize how popular comic-book movies are, and now, working on one, I realize why they're popular - the story is really good, the dialogue is really good, the artistry behind every department is high, the acting is really good.”
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
