Demi Lovato is in the skincare business.

People Magazine reported that the 22-year-old singer will be launching her own three-step skincare line named Devonne by Demi in December. The former Disney starlet took to Twitter Wednesday to announce her debut, posting, "#DevonneByDemi."

"Ever since I was a young girl, I have always been about skincare for some reason," she told People. "When you take time to do things for yourself like care for your skin, you feel the most confident."

Lovato explained that her motivation behind her skin line is to try and "help young girls and women all over the world love and accept themselves when they look in the mirror." The line includes a hydrating protective mist, deep facial cleanser and moisturizing primer. Prices start at $29.99 for a monthly subscription.

"I can guarantee that if you take care of your skin and use products that work, you'll find that confidence," Lovato said.

Lovato, who teamed up with beauty experts to create the products, revealed her personal favorite item from the line: sweet lemon and peppermint moisturizer.

She said the product is "so hydrating and smells incredible. And not only is it a moisturizer, but it has primer in it to help my makeup last throughout the day."

According to Devonne by Demi official website, a portion of the skincare system's proceeds will go towards The Lovato Treatment Scholarship, a program aimed at helping young girls suffering from addiction or mental health issues.
