Lenovo is covering both price points with its all-new gaming laptop and a desktop featuring plenty of power underneath the hood.

Lenovo, the renowned PC maker, is expanding into gaming with two new additions - the Y70 Touch laptop and Erazer X315 desktop. The additions make the company's presence at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin heavier. The all-new Lenovo Y70 Touch laptop hits a new standard in the gaming laptop space with its monstrous 17-inch all-touch display compared to standard 14-inch models. The Erazer X315 desktop is more focused towards the budget-conscious buyers.

Lenovo conveys the message clear with its new Y0 Touch laptop. The all-touch function may not be just as useful for most games but adds a new layer of utility to the machine for functions like video editing and social sharing. The powerful specs are worth noting in the Y70 that uses a fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor along with a NVIDIA GTX graphics, the company said in an official press release, Wednesday.

Jeff Meredith, marketing vice president at Lenovo's Mobile Business Group, said the two new gaming PCs are optimized to meet the varying needs of customers. Other features in the Y70 Touch include customizable memory and storage options with up to 16GB RAM and either 1TB hybrid hard drive with 8GB cache or 256GB SSD. Battery is expected to last for up to five hours but it is unlikely under extreme gaming use, The Verge notes.

Design-wise, the machine may not feature a matching standard with the likes of Alienware and Razer but it boasts a unique style. It packs JBL stereo speakers with Dolby subwoofers for immersive audio experience. The laptop features a backlit keyboard for use in low light environments.

The Lenovo Erazer X315 is the latest addition in the company's X series. It does not replace the existing X510 or X700 but simply brings down the cost by lowering some of the specs for affordable buyers. It is powered by an AMD Kaveri A10-7850K processor, a 2GB GPU, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage with 8GB of cache. The Erazer X315 also features four 3.0 USB ports, always-on USB charging port, LED lighting on the front panel that resembles a knight's armor and a hidden air vent to keep the machine cool.

Both, Y70 Touch and Erazer X315 will be available through Lenovo online stores and retail outlets through partners. The Y70 Touch gets an early launch in stores next month for a starting price of $1,300 and the Erazer X315 will be available in North America starting November for a suggested price of $600.
