"American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy has taken fans to a haunted house, an insane asylum and a coven of witches in the Bayou. Now he's bringing fans to a quiet little town in Jupiter, Fla. that is home to the last remaining freak show in America.

Season 4 of the FX show "begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Fla. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike," an official description reads. "This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

As you can probably tell, "Freak Show" will feature a lot of creepy and strange characters. Check out a list below:

Emma Roberts: Maggie
Sarah Paulson: two-headed twins Dot and Bette Tattler (check out a photo of the character here)
Kathy Bates: Ethel Darling
Michael Chiklis: Wendell dell Toledo, the ex-husband of Ethel and currently married to Angela Bassett's character
Evan Peters: Jimmy Darling, the son of Ethel
Angela Bassett: Desiree
Jessica Lange: Elsa Mars (leader of the freak show)
John Carroll Lynch: main villain (rumored to be Twisty the Clown)
Gabourey Sidibe: name not revealed but will play a well-off, tailored graduate of the Barbizon school who returns to Jupiter, Fla. to tend to a family matter
Patti LaBelle: name not revealed but will play the mother to Sidibe's character. Described as a nosey mother who figures out Twisty the Clown's killer secret.
Jyoti Amge: the world's smallest woman

Recently, FX treated fans with a new poster that features the main cast dressed as their characters. Bates' Ethel Darling will be a bearded lady, Chiklis' Wendell dell Toledo will be a strongman and it looks like Bassett's Desiree is rocking three breasts. And is that Robert's Maggie stuffed into a cage?? (To see a close up of the photo click here).

The network also released two teaser videos: one featuring a three-legged acrobat and the other shows someone stuffed inside a cage. There's also a creepy man in the clip who could be Twisty the Clown.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" premieres Oct. 8 on FX.
