Kim Kardashian makes another run at scripted fare this fall in the CBS comedy "2 Broke Girls."

Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) hope an appearance by Kim, playing herself, at their Brooklyn cupcake shop will boost business, according to TVLine.com.

"They need a big bump, and providence sort of smiles on them when they find out that 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' is doing a segment in Williamsburg, and that they may make an appearance at their shop," executive producer Michael Patrick King told TVLine. "The girls know what that kind of exposure would mean to them. And it turns out there is a bit of a cherry on the ice cream, or the cupcake, because Kim does appear at their window."

The reality star tweeted her excitement about the upcoming TV appearance. She has completed shooting her scenes for the season premiere episode.

"Shooting an episode of #2BrokeGirls with @OfficialKat & @Beth Behrs! Can't wait for you to see it 10/27 @ 8pm on #CBS," Kim wrote on Aug. 25.

The Kardashians won't be off the hook for possible joke material just because Kim's making an appearance. Mrs. Kanye West wasn't afraid to make fun of herself, though.

"There are the typical '2 Broke Girls' jokes all about [the Kardashians] in the episode," King told TVLine. "So, it's fun to see someone have a great sense of humor about herself. She read the script, she thought it was funny and she came. We could've [shot] the exact same [episode] without her - but she was the cherry on top."

Kim Kardashian guest-starred as herself in past episodes of "Last Man Standing," "90210," "How I Met Your Mother," "30 Rock" and "Brothers." She also acted in shows like "CSI: NY" and "Beyond the Break," and had a recurring role on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva."

"2 Broke Girls" returns on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
