Gwen Stefani may have channeled John Travolta when announcing the winner of the Best Variety Series award during the 2014 Emmys.

Stefani, alongside Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, announced “The Colbert Report” was the big Emmy winner. However, the singer pronounced the name “Colboar Report” instead of “Colbear Repor.” Stefani and Levine laughed off the awkward moment but at least she was closer than Travolta.

During the 2014 Oscar Award Show, Travolta introduced “Frozen” actress and singer Edina Menzel before her performance of the hit song, “Let It Go.” The actor majorly flubbed Menzel’s name, calling her Adele Dazeem. Travolta’s public hiccup spawned generators for people to “Travolify” their names.

Like Travolta before her, fans took to Twitter to poke fun of Menzel, most making references to the actor’s Adele Dazeem moment.

Luckily for Stefani, “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon corrected took some of the heat off of the singer by joking he should received the award because she messed up. However, Stephen Colbert swooped in and gave his acceptance speech.

“We want to thank Comedy Central, of course, they are great, I want to thank his wife and his children, everyone's work on the show for the last nine years,” Colbert said.

“If you’re not on the show’s staff, but want to join before the show ends next year, 'Just put your name on IMDB and I’ll back you up,' with the bit ultimately ending with Jimmy 'accidentally' blurting out an obscenity,” he added. “…It has been a ton of fun to do the show. We want to thank Jon Stewart again.”
