Harrison Ford seems to be recovering nicely after suffering an ankle injury on the “Star Wars Episode VII” set.

Ford was caught by TMZ taking his chances on a 2,500-foot slide just a few days before he’s due back on the set. Those who are brave enough to travel on the slide can reach speeds up to 30 mph.

“We're told Harrison is a regular on the Alpine Slide, and often rides with his grandkids,” TMZ reports, “but when you're nursing a broken ankle (and you're 72) and an entire production revolves around YOU, maybe find a less dangerous hobby??”

The “Star Wars: Episode VII” production went on a two-week hiatus to allow Ford time to heal from his leg injury. Ford was reportedly injured while doing a walkthrough on the Millennium Falcon.

Little details are known about the “Star Wars: Episode VII” production, but cast member Adam Driver recently gave Entertainment Weekly a little taste of how expansive the new Universe will be.

“The thing about Star Wars that’s so good—sure there’s this huge [canvas],” Driver told EW. “It’s space, it’s a long time ago in a galaxy far away. That’s set up immediately. But in the midst of all those things, what has made those movies last so long is that they’re all grounded, which is something that is not so far off from every movie with huge universal themes of siblings and parents and betrayal and trust. That’s so generic and obvious, but it’s hard to balance those things.”

“Star Wars: Episode VII” will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
