Tim Tebow's career in the NFL is uncertain. Teams continue to avoid the quarterback like the plague, and coaches seem unwilling to invite a "media circus" into their locker room. Former Super Bowl-winning coach Tony Dungy, however, offered his support for Tebow and encouraged him to remain "faithful."

Dungy posted a video over the weekend on All Pro Dad offering encouragement to Tebow, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

"Be patient, be faithful. The lord has a good spot for you. He's going to give you the right situation," Dungy said.

He added: "Tim is a winner. And he's a guy who lifts his teammates, he lifts the spirits of any team that's he [sic] with ... He's going to find a place to go to work, and he'll find the right spot and give those guys some encouragement and a chance to be a winner."

Dungy is the latest to offer his endorsement of Tebow.  Actor and martial artist Chuck Norris said in an editorial last week that he believes the unemployed quarterback could be a "super star and legend in the NFL."

Tebow has faced a litany of criticism since the New York Jets released him earlier in April.  Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon said Tebow can't throw well enough to even cut it in the Canadian Football League, and New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick reportedly told a source that he "hates" Tebow as a player.

Despite petitions to the Jacksonville Jaguars to sign Tebow, he hasn't had much luck finding a job. Teams are hesitant to bring the "circus" that follows Tebow into their locker room after watching last season's debacle in New York. Thus far, the only offers Tebow has received were from Arena Football League teams.

NFL OTAs have already begun, and as training camp approaches it becomes less and less likely that Tebow will find a team — at least as a quarterback.  Moon suggested Tebow should change positions, but there's been no word from the former Heisman-winner if he'd consider doing it.
