Miami Heat fans are still a little bitter LeBron James dumped them last month to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. One fan, Miami radio host Dan Le Batard, went as far as renting a billboard in James' hometown with a message for the King.

"You're welcome, LeBron. Love, Miami," the Akron billboard reads next to two NBA championship rings.

Le Batard initially wanted to take out newspaper ads with the same message, but both Cleveland and Akron papers refused to publish, according to The Miami Herald. The billboard went up around Aug. 6, just in time for Akron's homecoming celebration for James, who announced he was coming back to the Cavaliers in July.

Le Batard may have greater plans to mess with James, but won't reveal them in case the NBA star and his friends try to stop him. He insists the teasing is all in good fun, and, in reality, is a "publicity stunt disguised as a movement."

"It's just fun anarchy," he told the Miami Herald. "All meant in fun - which, of course, will turn into Cleveland people getting filled with rage, poison and irrational hostility and want to use those billboards as a guillotine. Sports are so great, the more irrational the better."

Miami fans and some media members didn't appreciate James not thanking Heat fans for supporting him during his four years on the team. He did thank his teammates, coaches and front office personnel in a piece for Sports Illustrated.

"These past four years helped raise me into who I am," James told SI. "I became a better player and a better man... I will always think of Miami as my second home. Without the experiences I had there, I wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing today."

James also reposted an Instagram pic from the Heat that thanked him for the memories and captioned it, "Thank you as well!! Memories I'll never forget."
