A new class at Houston Community College teaches students how to be the next Beyonce.

"The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?" is being taught by Beyonce's father, Matthew Knowles, who managed Destiny's Child and Beyonce. The class is one day long, on Sept. 13, and according to USA Today College reports there are no current plans for the class to be offered online or at any other universities.

"I've been in the music and entertainment business more than 20 years and I know how it works," Knowles told BET.

At the end of the class, attendees will get a certificate of completion and a booklet filled with industry terms, contacts, and more information.

The school's official website calls the seminar a "fascinating, insider's view of the entertainment industry from someone who knows it from top to bottom."

The seminar costs $145 for students, $295 for non-students and $350 for those who sign up at the door.

Knowles was a corporate America salesman before entering the music business 22-years-ago, according to YourHoustonNews.com. Once he made his decision to change career paths, Knowles enrolled in business and music courses at Houston Community College, where he will teach his entertainment class next month.

"I took these courses and got a lot out of them. I thought they were fantastic," Knowles told YourHoustonNews.com of his former HCC student days. "And because my passion truly is in teaching and passing on what I know, I am proud to now be able to come back and offer a one-day course. There are many people who want to go into the music industry and just don't know where to start."

Knowles is also a CEO of a record label, a recording studio, a private event space and a car rental company, according to BizJournals.com. He was Beyonce's manager from the start of her career until 2011 after his affair with actress Alexandra Wright and his divorce with the star's mother, Tina Knowles.
