John Schnatter, Chairman and CEO of Papa John's, apologized to a Sanford, Florida customer after a delivery man for the company accidentally left a offensive voicemail full of racial slurs, according to ABCNEWS.com.

The delivery man left the home of the customer and his wife Sunday and was upset about his tip. He “butt dialed” the customer amid his rant filled with expletives and slurs.

The customer then posted a YouTube video showing he and his wife tipped the man 21 percent “as usual.”

The employee was complaining to a fellow Papa John’s worker about the tip, which was $5, using the N-word and other racial slurs. He even used the slurs to create a song about the Sanford man.

"I guess that's the only requirement for being a [insert N-word] in javascript:;Sanford.”

"Yeah, they give me five bucks there -- fine outstanding African-American gentleman of the community."

The fellow employee can be heard laughing in response to the delivery man.

Sanford has been home to racial controversy in the past year due to the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Monday, Schnatter issued an apology on the Papa John’s Facebook page:

Friends, I am extremely concerned to learn about the reprehensible language used by two former employees in one of our restaurants. Their thinking and actions defy both my personal and the company's values, and everything for which this company stands. The employees responsible for this absolutely unacceptable behavior were immediately terminated.

My heartfelt apology goes out to the customer involved, his family, and our community at large. I am very sorry that anyone would be exposed to these hurtful and painful words by any person involved in any way with our company.

Thank you for your important comments. I have personally reached out to our customer to share my own thoughts and offer my deepest apology.

Sincerely,

John Schnatter
Chairman and CEO
Papa John’s

Papa John’s did not immediately respond to an ABC call to the company for comment.
