Parents are freaking out over a Toys R Us baby doll that comes with life-like boy parts.

The boy dolls- penis included- come in packages of "You & Me Mommy Change My Diaper Doll" sold at the toy store chain. Parents bought the dolls for their kids only to find out they were a little too anatomically correct, which the packaging did not mention, CTV News reported.

"I took my daughter to buy a new baby at toys r us. And she was so excited to find a baby doll because it was dressed in blue," one outraged New Jersey mother wrote on Facebook according to CTV News. "But when she went to change his diaper, this was the surprise (sic)," the woman wrote in the post that included a picture of the naked boy doll.

"Why?? These r little girls that don't need to know the anatomy (sic)," the woman wrote.

The photo the mother posted this week has since been removed.

Male and female dolls are traditionally manufactured without private body parts. But is creating a baby doll with a penis really that outrageous? According to Monica Beyer of Sheknows.com, it isn't.

"What about a baby makes a penis or a vulva dirty or sexual?"  Beyer wrote. "Because that's what it sounds like when people say that it's wrong for little girls to see it. The truth is, when a child points out the body part that she doesn't have, all a parent is required to do is call it by its name."

As it turns out, the dolls have been sold at Toys R Us since spring 2013, according to a statement from the company obtained by NBC's "Today" show.

The company has "received no significant negative feedback over the course of the past year," Toys R Us said. "Also, please note that the current packaging clearly states 'anatomically correct.' "
