Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose, who's coming off a meniscus injury, has no restrictions heading into Team USA's training camp for the basketball World Cup.  Rose believes he is healthy and is ready to make doubters "eat their words" with his comeback on the court.

Rose suffered a torn ACL in May 2012 and a torn meniscus in November 2013, but the former MVP appears to have recovered fully from last year's season-ending knee injury and faces no restrictions heading into Team USA's training camp, which opens Monday.

Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski told Yahoo Sports Rose's only real concern heading into training camp is knocking off the rust from being sidelined for most of the past two seasons.

"Physically, he's good.  It's just a matter of how quickly you regain the instincts to compete and play at this level," Krzyzewski said.

When asked if Rose would have any restrictions, Krzyzewski said no.

"None at all," the Duke coach insisted.  "Again, he hasn't played against this competition [in a while].  We have to watch that.  But no.  He's ready to go.  I haven't seen him play.  These next few days I will see the new guys, see Derrick."

The season-ending knee injuries in back-to-back years had some pundits criticizing Rose's ability to stay healthy and questioning whether he would ever reach MVP form again.  Rose acknowledged he wasn't deaf to the naysayers and looked forward to proving them wrong.

"I still have goals," he said, via SLAM Magazine.  "Seeing those doubters out there, it's gonna be funny seeing them eat their words."
