Actress Lea Michele is (temporarily) leaving the glee club behind for a biker gang. Michele announced on Twitter that she landed a guest role on Season 7 of "Sons of Anarchy."

"I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harperbar and @sutterink #SOAFX," she tweeted. The people she included in the tweet are Paris Barclay, director of "Sons" and "Glee," and Kurt Sutter, creator of the FX show.

Michele and Sutter stayed mum on the character's details but E! News got the scoop and claims the "Glee" actress will play Gertie, "an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time."

Michele joins other guests stars Courtney Love, who will play Ms. Harrison, a preschool teacher who takes a special interest in Jax's son; Marilyn Manson, who joins as Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison leader who links up with Jax; and Walton Goggins.

Recently Theo Rossi (Juan Carlos "Juice" Ortiz) dished on the final season of "Sons" to E! News and hinted that fans could see a lot of characters dying.

"People are dropping like flies, literally, every two seconds you're like, 'Oh, that person's gone,'" Rossi told E!. "There's always a big clap-off it feels, every scene, every episode, somebody's leaving."

It sounds like Jax (Charlie Hunnam) might be on a mission to seek justice for the murder of his wife, Tara (Maggie Siff). Hunnam previously told TV Guide that his character has a lot of "vengeance in his heart" this season.

At the end of Season 6, Jax's world was crushed when Tara was brutally murdered in their home. The new season picks up 10 days after the murder with Jax still behind bars. Eventually he's released and all hell breaks loose.

"Jax is in a very schizophrenic state," Hunnam said. "He's obviously very sad and vulnerable and broken with this huge amount of revenge and anger in his heart."

The final season of "Sons of Anarchy" takes its final ride beginning Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.
