Director Zack Snyder teased Twitter fans with an image of Henry Cavill on the “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” set, but there’s a twist.

Snyder photoshopped an image of Cavill wearing a black robe over his Man of Steel costume. Cavill was holding a lightsaber and called the image #SuperJedi. It is unclear if Snyder was hinting at something by releasing the image, but fans enjoyed the photo.

DC Entertainment co-publisher Jim Lee recently spoke about Snyder’s “Batman vs. Superman” production. Lee expressed his confidence in the director’s vision during an interview with Variety.

“Zack is a comicbook fan and draws inspiration from the comics,” Lee said. “He doesn’t need to be given advice. He’s a talented filmmaker. He’s a super stylized visualist. He’ll do stuff no one has ever done with the caped crusader and blow everyone away. He knows how to take the sensibility of comicbooks and do what other filmmakers don’t know how to do”

Lee also isn’t concerned about Snyder incorporating the source material from the original comics. Lee explained to Variety he sees comics and film as two different mediums and doesn’t like to compare the two.

“I know a lot of filmmakers will look at the source material and what we capture on paper and translate that entirely onto film,” Lee said, “but it shouldn’t be a literal translation of the comicbooks themselves. We work in a medium that has no end. A film should have a beginning, middle and end and resolution until the next one comes out. We’re telling a story every single month. They’re different sensibilities.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
