Sprint and Google announced Wednesday that they have formed a partnership for Sprint to gives its business customers access to Google Apps for Business.

The offer will become available in August and will give companies using Sprint for their employee the ability to sign up for the search giant's services, according to PC Magazine. Such services include Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Sites, and Google Docs.

"Sprint offers a variety of mobile tools to accommodate multi-generational work styles within the workplace, helping people to boost productivity and collaborate from virtually anywhere," said Mike Fitz, vice president of business solution commercialization at Sprint Business.

The telecommunications company is also looking to make Google's 24/7 phone support available to businesses, as well as sign-on services, training programs, and the option to pre-load Android and iOS devices with Google's apps and services before making them available to customers, The Verge reported.

Businesses don't need to have wireless service or associated device contracts to buy the Google Apps offer. Fritz said Sprint expects the offer to help customers "see significant value in have Google Apps and Sprint, because of the integrated support and so forth that we provide."

The new partnership isn't the first between Sprint and Google, who teamed up in 2011 to integrate Google Voice with Sprint's wireless network and offerings, The Verge reported.

The carrier didn't reveal the amount of businesses it hopes will sign up to Google Apps over the next year. However, Fritz said there is no defined term or end date for its deal with Google. In the meantime, Sprint will keep working with Microsoft and Cisco to offer additional business solutions.

Murali Sitaram, director of strategic partnerships for Google Enterprise, said Google Apps "helps businesses work better together with familiar tools they can trust," PC Magazine reported.

"We are pleased to welcome Sprint to the Google Aps Partner Program, where they will provide Google Apps and added services to help customers work the way they live."
