Fox's Batman prequel "Gotham" may be featuring multiple "Jokers" to fake out audiences.

Bleeding Cool recently published images of the "Gotham" pilot. One of the images included a nervous stand up comedian at Fish Mooney's night club. Many assumed it was the future Joker, but this may not be the cast.

"Basically, every episode in the first season will introduce a character that might be a future Joker, each emphasizing aspects of the character's iconography, a card sharp, a flower seller, a clown, or just a guy with a very big grin," according to Bleeding Cool. "All relatively unknown actors. All potentially a Joker. But only one of them being the actual Clown Prince Of Crime."

Fans will have to tune in to the first season of "Gotham" premiering on Sept. 22 to find out who The Joker will be. As for who will play Bruce Wayne, David Mazouz has landed the coveted role. Mazouz spoke to TV Addict about the pressures of taking on the role of Wayne knowing what his character will become.

"Let's put it this way: what 13-year old boy does not want to be Batman? Not that I'm playing Batman, but still," Mazouz said. "My first reaction when I found out that I got the role was: 'Oh my gosh, this is the best thing to ever happen to me. This is awesome.' I told all my friends, 'I am Batman.'"

"Then a few days later, it hit me, 'Oh my god, this is going to be stressful,'" he continued. "When you are playing such an iconic role, there's always people saying, 'You should be doing it like this. 'But after we did the pilot, I got a lot more comfortable with the role."
