ZAGG has expanded its vast keyboard line with the all-new ZAGG Folio for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4's 8-inch and 10.1-inch models at $99 each.
ZAGG, a well-known smartphone and tablet accessories brand, added a new tablet keyboard to its lineup Thursday, allowing Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 owners to give their tablet a laptop look. The new ZAGG Folio wireless Bluetooth keyboard is designed for both the Galaxy Tab 4 models, seamlessly docking 8-inch and 10.1-inch tablets for 135 degree multiple viewing angles.
The wireless keyboard holds the accompanying tablet and pairs via in-built Bluetooth. According to the company's press release, Thursday, the keyboard can last up to 12 months between charges, which is an upgrade from other models offering battery life up to three months. The lasting battery on the Zagg keyboard along with the Galaxy Tab 4 can be perfect companions for vacation and use in transit, instead of traditional laptops.
"The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 product line features a stunning display with the very latest technology, and the ZAGG Folio helps users to extend the functionality even further," Kent Wuthrich, executive vice president of product management and development for ZAGG, said in a press release, Thursday. "As a part of the Samsung Mobile Accessory Partnership Program (SMAPP), ZAGG is recognized by Samsung as an industry expert to provide accessories for their mobile devices."
The latest ZAGG Folio keyboard features a thin design and is lighter so it can be carried along with the tablet almost anywhere. The keyboard features sufficient space between the keys that makes typing comfortable like on a laptop. The keyboard can be easily used in low-light areas with the help of its backlit keys.
ZAGG offers keyboards for a wide range of tablets, such as the Apple iPad series including the iPad mini with retina and other Android tablets. The company also offers protective screen covers and cases for smartphones, portable power adaptors and other products.
The ZAGG Folio keyboard for Galaxy Tab 4 is available online for $99.99 from the company's official website and at several Best Buy locations nationwide.
