Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson reportedly asked to be traded after a disagreement with the team.  Although Houston is reticent to the idea of dealing the Johnson, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports four teams have already expressed interest in the disgruntled Pro Bowler.

The supposed divide between Johnson and the Texans' coaching staff reportedly has escalated to the point where Johnson now is asking to be traded.  Johnson, who skipped the beginning of offseason workouts, asked the team to trade him after they declined to let him do extra workouts to earn his $1 million bonus, according to two sources reported by Rapoport.

"Johnson has also restructured his contract in each of the past three years at the team's behest, and he wants the same goodwill from the Texans regarding his $1 million roster bonus that he could earn Week 1 if he participates in offseason workouts and fulfills his contract," Rapoport wrote on Thursday.

While the Texans don't want to trade Johnson, at least four unidentified teams reportedly have already started lining up and the seven-time Pro Bowler reportedly has already pushed Houston out of his thoughts.

"Four teams have expressed interest in trading for (Andre Johnson), who is working out now 'not thinking of the Texans,' source said," Rapoport tweeted Thursday.

Johnson's discontent with the Texans has been building since at least May, when he expressed his disinterest in being part of any rebuilding process.

"Nobody's been here as long as I have.  You just kind of look at things; I've been thinking about things this offseason," Johnson said, via the Houston Chronicle.  "And I just kind of wonder sometimes, 'Is this still the place for me?'  ...

"I just look at my career.  ... I've only been to the playoffs twice.  I think we've only had three winning seasons.  I don't think any player wants to experience that.  I think over time it can become very frustrating."

Overthecap.com reported in May three teams interested in Johnson were the Cincinnati Bengals, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts.
